The services offered for all types of projects:
Phase I
Programming and Concept / Schematic Design
An initial meeting/conference call is scheduled with the client with the intent to understand his requests, needs, vision for the project as well as the estimated budget and the anticipated implementation timeline. When possible, this first meeting is followed by a site visit.
After gathering all available information, an analysis of the scope of work is determined.
During this phase, preliminary layouts, design concept development with themes and styles are prepared for the client’s viewing, allowing the design process to start.
Phase I

Phase II
Design Development
Following the analysis of the scope of work of phase I, the designer develops further the initial planning, design concept and selection of style and theme; choices of interior finishes, materials and color schemes for each of the areas to be worked on are then added.
The design process continues, and ends with the client’s approval of the design direction and story expressed.
Phase III
Documentation: Construction and FF&E
After the client’s approval of the design direction, PMA Design will proceed with the production of all necessary documentation (construction and FF&E).
This phase involves the production of all required plans, elevations and details including millwork drawings, thus allowing the construction team to produce estimated cost for the implementation of the finished interiors.
When the project is a hotel, documentation of all FF&E (terminology used in hospitality industry to describe all interior furnishings) is developed in a book format which allows the purchasing process, of all interior furnishings, furniture and equipment, to start.
Phase III

Phase IV
Coordination / Monitoring
The last phase of the design process is the one that concerns the implementation of the project and the selection and coordination of the other parties involved with the construction of the project.
Whether the project is a new built or a refurbishment, the designer’s role is to make sure that all is going according to plans via ongoing monitoring with all the parties involved during the design process.
As the saying goes, a well-managed design process insures a well implemented project and consequently, a happy client.
